1. Who we are
Indexli (“we”, “us”) operates indexli.com and related APIs. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we process it, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
Account data (email, name, password hash or Google auth identifiers), billing metadata (orders, manual payment proofs, transaction IDs, WhatsApp contact for verification), submitted URLs and project metadata, API usage logs, and basic device/security signals (IP, user agent) for abuse prevention.
3. How we use data
We use data to provide indexing and checker features, fulfill credit purchases, send transactional email (receipts, password reset, project notifications you enable), secure the platform, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
4. Providers & processors
We share data with infrastructure and service providers only as needed to run Indexli — for example hosting, databases, email delivery, payment processors, and indexing backends. Wholesale provider API keys we hold are encrypted at rest and are never sent to the browser.
5. Cookies & sessions
We use essential cookies/local storage for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the core product surfaces described here.
6. Retention
We retain account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, accounting, and dispute resolution. You may request deletion as described below.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data. Contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some records (e.g. completed invoices) may be retained where legally required.
8. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access-restricted production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
Indexli is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted where practical.
